In recognition of Irelands recently crowned major champions, the Irish Times Pub in Patong decided to organise a golf day. They asked me to help book the tee-times at Loch Palm Golf Club which i was happy to do. In just over a week we have got 48 players which has been an amazing response. So on the 26th August we hope the sun will be shining and we will raise plenty of money for The Life Home Project which helps children who suffer from the Aids virus.
Great prizes on the day, including a car for a hole in one are on offer and there are still a few places left. Entry forms can be picked up at the Irish Times and Yorkshire Hotel in Patong and the Players Retreat Bar in Kathu. There is also evening entertainment including a curry and music along with the prize presentation at the Irish Times.
